You can draw many more characters like simple house drawing, Anubis drawing, cat drawing, cobra drawing, blueberry drawing, coconut drawing and many more drawing for kids.

Step 1:

When you think of the Dumbo character, the first thing that comes to mind is his big ears which he uses to fly through the air. That’s why we’ll start with one of his ears in this guide to drawing Dumbo. First, let’s start with your signature hat. This hat has a small pointed brim and tip, and the reference picture will show you how it should be seen.

Once that hat is pulled, we’ll draw that big ear we mentioned. Draw a long, thin, curved shape with a rounded tip for the right side of the ear, curving a bit. Next, extend another wavy line from the top of the ear to the left side. Finally, add another curved line from the ear to the beginning of Dumbo’s back. Then you will be ready for step 2!

Step 2:

In this next step, we will start drawing the head and another ear for your Dumbo drawing. To do this, you can first draw another rounded line that goes down from the base of your hat. Once you’re drawn, we’ll add your eyes, which are thin vertical ovals with more rounded shapes inside. We also draw curved lines on the eyes of the eyebrows. Finally, you can also draw the other ear on the right side of his head. This ear will be very similar to the first but will be thinner due to our viewing perspective.

Step 3:

As we all know, Dumbo is a small elephant, which means he must have a trunk. That’s why we’ll add one for him and some other facial details in this step of our guide to drawing Dumbo. The trunk will spread between his eyes and be drawn with rounded lines that connect. We will also add a smiley mouth at the base of the chest. After drawing the chest, add a small necklace around your neck using more rounded lines and add your tiny legs under it.

Step 4:

In the next step of this guide on how to draw Dumbo, along with the next, we will focus on finishing the final details and parts of your Dumbo drawing. First, add a curved line under your body to draw your rounded belly. Next, we’ll add another little foot that stands out under your belly. You can draw your little tail at the back to complete this step. Once these details are drawn, we will be ready to add the final details of this image in the next step.

Step 5:

There is a small gap in this image, and we will fill it in for this step of our guide on drawing Dumbo. To fill in this space, we’ll draw Dumbo’s last leg, which will be very similar to the other legs you’ve drawn. Once complete, you can add details and keys before continuing. A great idea would be to draw a background for this image. You can use your favorite movie scene to recreate the moment or create a new scenario for Dumbo. Adding more beloved characters to the film would also improve this image! What will you do to complete this drawing?

Step 6:

To color our sample image for this Dumbo drawing, we kept the colors exactly how it appears in the movie. This means we use gray for most of your body and incorporate pink for his inner ears. Finally, we use red and yellow for your neck and hat. If you want Dumbo to continue wearing how he does in the movie, our sample image will serve as a color guide that can follow! However, it’s your drawing, so if you prefer to use different colors or media to color it, feel free to get creative!
