How to add a Facebook page administrator?
After reading my guide on creating a page on Facebook, you have decided to put my advice into practice and open your first page on the famous social network founded by Mark Zuckerberg. After doing so, however, you would like to add a friend of yours to the page who can help you publish new content, moderate comments, and reply to private messages, entrusting him with the role of administrator; the problem is you can’t figure out how to do it.
How do you say? Is this the case? In this case, don’t worry: if you dedicate a few minutes of your free time to me, I can explain how to add an administrator to the Facebook page both from smartphones, tablets, and computers. In addition to providing all the information you need to appoint one or more administrators, I will also explain to you what other page manager roles you can consider.
How to add a new Facebook page administrator
Before going into the details of this guide and explaining how to add a Facebook page administrator, I want to remind you that the administrator is the highest role a page manager user can play and gives the latter full control of the page.
The administrator, in fact, in addition to publishing content and advertisements, can manage every aspect of the page, including comments and messages, and is even able to delete the page, change its name, as well as appoint other administrators and manage the roles of the page: for this reason, it is important to assign this task only to a person of extreme trust.
Alternatively, among the other roles of the page is that of Publisher (can publish and manage the publication of content, as well as manage comments and messages) or Moderator, in case you need a person in charge of managing comments and messages. Finally, I remind you that there are no limitations on the number of people you can add as managers of a Facebook page, and the added person does not necessarily have to be among your friends. Having clarified this, let’s see how to add a new administrator to a Facebook page.

First, let’s see how to add an administrator to a Facebook page by acting from a smartphone and tablet, using the Facebook app for Android (also downloadable from alternative stores ) or iOS / iPadOS.
Therefore, log into your account if necessary after downloading and launching the app. Once this is done, press the ☰ button and press on the name of the page you have created (if you do not see the page’s name among the quick links, tap on the item Pages to see the list of pages you manage).
Then, on the page screen, tap on the Edit Page, Settings, and Roles buttons page, press the Add a person to the page button, type your account password, and press the Continue button. On the next screen, enter the name of the user you want to make administrator in the text field displayed and select her name in the menu that appears.
Finally, put the check mark next to the Administrator entry and tap the Add button. The user appointed as an administrator will receive a notification and will have to accept the invitation by clicking on the Accept button to become a full administrator.
Bottom Line
You can change the role or remove a person previously added as an administrator at any time. To do this, in the Roles screen of the page, tap on the pencil icon relating to the user to delete/modify, then press the Remove button to delete the administrator from the page, otherwise put the check mark next to one of the other roles available and press the Save button.
Alternatively, by implementing a similar procedure, you can add and manage an administrator through Meta Business Suite, the app for Android (also downloadable from alternative stores ) and iOS / iPadOS that allows you to manage your Facebook and Instagram pages with ease.
After downloading and starting the app, at the first login, tap the Continue button to log in with the same account used for the Facebook app. Once the first configuration has been completed, tap on the Tools button at the bottom and then press on the Settings> Edit roles of the page to add new people and manage those already on the page, using the Add a person to the page button and then following the same instructions provided in the previous lines.
